Wild horses yesterday dragged Susan Boyle away from the America's Got Talent studios in what police are describing as an orchestrated attack.
Ironically, the orchestra backing Susan Boyle during her performance of the song Wild Horses did nothing to stop the equine retaliation.
David Hasselhoff, one of the judges on the show, said he thought it was all part of Susan's act.
Wild horses have been complaining since the Sixties that they are stereotyped and often maligned.
Their cause is not helped by singers of the song, Wild Horses, originally performed by the Rolling Stones.
One nag said: "When was the last time you heard of a wild horse dragging someone away, yet the very mention of wild horses and that's all people think about. Well, we say, neigh, neigh and thrice neigh."
Fortunately Boyle was released ahead of today's announcement by makers of the America's Got Talent show that next season's show will feature The Osmonds singing Crazy Horses.
