The Secretary General of the UN, Kofi Annan, has been reunited with his long lost Brother, actor and Ukulele magnate Morgan Freeman.
News of the reunion was leaked as the two brothers met at a secret location in New Mexico yesterday. Freeman was said to be shocked at the news that he was related to the highly respected diplomat and lesser known harmonica virtuoso.
The meeting, brokered by Geri Halliwell in her role as UN ambassador for publicity stunts, was described by Joan Rivers, who was not present but available for comment as "a tearful yet joyous affair".
Annan, who was raised by wolves until the age of nine, in the fictional African state of Kenanda, greeted the news by howling loudly for a number of minutes, licking his own backside and attempting to hump the leg of Miss Halliwell. Freeman (62) then joined in.
The amazing story of how the two brothers were separated and eventually reunited involves a confused stork, a circus and an elephant that had unfeasibly large ears. That being said some of the details of the story are still to be confirmed.
In a related development producers for Paramount Pictures announced they had bought the film rights to the story and planned to begin production in the autumn. The search was on to find two actors to play the lead roles. Current likely favourites are Tobey MacGuire and Orlando Bloom.
