Kate & Jerry have secured a whopping $$$ litigation fighting fund handout from the Oprah Winfrey show

Praia Da Illuzion - (Maddie Mess): Disgraced former Portuguese police officer Goncalo Amaral has sent lawyers representing the parents of missing child Madeleine McCann a confident two-fingered 'up yours'.

The couple are filing defamation charges against Amaral after he said they 'should have been prosecuted on child negligence charges'.

The McCanns famously dined out every single night for a week while leaving their three little toddlers alone in a holiday apartment a few hundred yards away from the restaurant.

Amaral's response today comes amid reports that Kate and Jerry McCann have secured a reported $5 million legal fighting fund from their Oprah Winfrey interview earnings in the US last week.

Robert Murat has threatened to bring down the European Court of Human Blights after querying his 'paltry' £500,000 damages from the UK press.
