NEW YORK(UP) - No word yet on when the next Harry Potter book comes out, but at least there's a title: "Harry Potter steps inside the Pentagram and tips the Chalice".
1. Well, the door opened at last and I saw the pentagram with three sixes drawn inside. The chalice was half full of urine and seemed to glow menacingly in the light of 1000 black candles.
2. Harry had never sipped blood befoe. As he swallowed, he savored the salty iron aftertaste that lingered on his tongue.
The British author's U.S. publisher, Scholastic, confirmed the title on Tuesday. Speaking anonymously for Scholastic, editor Jake McCollough stated, " Aw hell, everyone and their brother knows these books have been about Satan". "Ms. Kowling simply decided to write about what she knows firsthand".
A previous posting on Kowling's site, listed under "Gossip," had led some fans to believe the book would be called "Harry Potter and the Temple of Doom". Rowling dismissed that title as laughable and posted this reply: "That was the title of an old cheesy movie, and besides,...what does that have to do with our Prince of Darkness"?
The most recent Potter book, "Harry Potter and the Order of Antone La Vey," was released last summer. The paperback sold, oddly enough, 666 million copies.
