image for Da Vinci Code sequel "The Lost Symbol" will be last book

The billionaire author has announced today that following the release of the sequel to the Da Vinci code - "The Lost Symbol", he will never write another book.

Instead the writer will be taking on the infinitely more difficult task of spending his multi billion dollar fortune as a full time job.

A recent study shows that each person on Earth now owns on average, 3 copies of the Da Vinci Code and a further 16 of the author's novels.

As such, the money that he has made is rolling in a lot faster than anyone could logically spend it.

Of course he famously purchased the nation of Portugal last year for his month and has been in negotiations to convert Cuba into a family retreat.

His agent confirmed that he "is going to be focussing now on what is most important - spending".
