The pirate standoff in the Indian Ocean just off the coast of Somalia has degenerated into world wide protest of which has not been seen since the 60's. The leader of the pirates is none other then the famous Jack Sparrow who is remembered to have been a major motion picture star in the Pirates of the Caribbean. However due to the slumping economy he and the cast were laid off and have not been able to find work.

Darrel, who is a spokesman for the Hollywood actor's guild stated that the organization has made every attempt at trying to find work for the cast and crew. "The difficulty in finding work for pirates is that they have been typed cast" "Although this is an unfortunate event there isn't a lot we can do about it."

In an exclusive interview with Captain "Jack Sparrow" he laments "I realize that there are people out there who don't like pirates, but due to extreme discrimination practices by Hollywood we were left no choice but sail to Somalia and to hold the Captain Hostage until a settlement is reached." He goes on to say. "how would you like it, if every day some one saw you dressed in a pirates outfit and started to snicker under their breath and call you gay or peg leg and black beard, or use some variant of numerous spurious comments, Its just downright discrimination and it must stop."

Diplomats from all over the world are negotiating for a peaceful end to the crisis and will work for pirate rights to be included the bill of rights and other international charters. Polly want a cracker?
