image for Late arrival for G20 blames Obama for short notice
Andorra One returning without the country's PM on board

The Prime Minister of Andorra has arrived in London to attend the G20 Conference despite the fact that the heads of state talk fest finished eight days ago.

Mr Manuel Numbskull was greeted by his Ambassador who told him the unfortunate news. When approached by media packs he looked decidedly angry and declared that the only person to blame for this dreadful mess up was the President of the USA, Barack Obama. Mr Numbskull alleged that Mr Obama phoned him last week and insisted that he attend the conference so he could learn a bit about geo-political relations. However Obama forgot to advise him when to arrive, claimed the Prime Minister.

Mr Numbskull believes that this whole exercise was purely a April Fools prank played by not only Obama but also the Spanish and Portugese heads of state.

"They think that Andorra is just a mere geographical expression but they are wrong! I will get them back!" he insisted.

To add to his woes, his official jet had already refuelled and returned to Andorra while he spoke to the press about his predicament.

He will now fly on a chartered BA flight back to his palatial residence near the Spanish Pyrenees.
