NEW DELHI - After 9 years as a failed dictator pretending to be a democrat General Mushie was thrown out of office because he was too gutless to run as a civilian in democratic elections. But the little narcissist is without doubt a legend in his own mind.
Attending a peace conclave organized by an Indian magazine in New Delhi, the tinpot dictator strutted and puffed himself out like little Robin Redbreast as he tried to 'talk-tuff' to his hosts.
When questioned by this reporter why India granted him a visa to come and insult them, the conclave organizers said "We believe in freedom of speech - and he does love the sound of his own voice! He's begun to believe his own lies. So let's give him a long rope to hang himself then we'll give him a jolly good verbal bashing"
Forgetting his duplicity in the War on Terror, his nurturing of jihadi elements within Pakistan to extend his un-constitutional rule and his inability to close the gap with neighboring India simply because he could not be trusted - the little cockatoo hurled accusations at India for encouraging militancy in Pakistan; for not letting go off the past and for meddling in Pakistan.
Mushie had the audience rolling on the floor laughing hysterically, when he called the Kashmir issue a "peace struggle that began in 1947". However, he conveniently steered clear of his own dirty, 110% under-handed role in promoting, fostering and using this same militancy as a state-sponsored tool against India.
An Indian government official said "We all knew he was going to make an absolute fool of himself but this ridiculous self-posturing has turned out to be even more funny than expected!
"He's waiting to be invited back into Pakistani politics but in the meantime he thinks he is auditioning for the Nobel Peace Prize! We are going to nominate him for Best Actor in a Supporting Comedy Role because he has truly outdone himself this time - the poor craven fool"
