The Angel Gabriel practices his solo work

In a shock statement issued today, the Church Leaders have now denied the existence of Genesis.

I what is likely to prove a very controversial new debate, the Church Leaders have been asked to explain their theory behind the long-standing, and up to now, undisputed existence of Genesis.

Matt Vinyl, lead singer, guitarist and drug-abuser formed The Church Leaders in 2001 and said that he was 100%, if not more, definite that Genesis is now just a figment of a very active imagination.

He said to forget about Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah's Ark and the Tower of Babel, and simply questioned where Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks now were.

He added that he had already doubted the existence of Genesis back in 1975 when the Archangel Gabriel left to go solo. He added that much to everyone's relief, Peter Gabriel didn't go solo that we couldn't hear him.

He has written to the BRITS - British Royal International Tracing Society - for their opinion as to the continued existence of Genesis.

Make Steddyeddy's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
