Awesome events could throw the entire US election shenanigans into disarray

London - (Cosmic Mess): As the moon conjoins the planet Pluto in its Sagittarius/Capricorn crossing this weekend ahead of an awesome Saturn/Uranus opposition in Virgo/Pisces this Tuesday fears are growing that the ensuing chaos could well throw the entire US presidential election.

"This exact planetary set up was last seen in pre-Babylonian empire days around 2,500 BC," Prof V Smart of the International Institute for Zodiac Studies said today.

"We only recently managed to decipher the 23rd century Sargon of Akkad codex which relates in cuneiform tradition how the "true king" or "the true legitimate king" will re-appear once this planetary configuration is replicated in the early days of November 2008," Smart added.

Sargon is widely accredited with being the first royal ruler 'in recorded history' to create a 'multi-ethnic, centrally ruled empire' during the notorious Mesopotamian credit crunch of 2,300 BC.

"The perplexing news is that according to the Sargon of Akkad neither of the presidential contenders is the reincarnated true legitimate king.

"I fully expect some external event to completely throw a spanner in the election works and, judging by the starry set up, stand to make a tidy sum betting on this to happen."

Barack Obama and John McCain are blissfully ignorant of the cosmic situation.
