There are reports today that there have been major problems with Madonna's impending divorce, in particular with the ramifications as to what might happen to the child.
Madonna - real name Mary - has come in for firece criticism from the Roman authorities as to the legality of her impending divorce and request for child support from the State.
Leader of the Roman Government, Emperor Rollwithitus Oasis Maximus was said to be questioning how Madonna can expect a divorce and to receive her children's allowance. He went on to argue it appears that not only is there no trace of a marriage certificate, but she has been banging on about her immaculate conception since bringing out her hit celebration single "Like a Virgin".
He said that the proceeds from the sale of the Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh she obtained from the three strange geezers on camels at the Brethlehem Holiday Inn Stables should be adequate enough to support her for many years to come..
Roman Secretary of State for Children, Ruthus Kellius Opus Dopeus, is said to be on the side of Madonna. She explained: "We can't be seen to be treating single mothers, especially those who give birth to god-like infants, like barbarians. The men have their Roman games, chariot races and binge Christian killings, yet what have women got? Nothing."
Madonna is said to be thinking of taking the case to the European Court of Christendom.
