NY/NY The New York Times - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahadinejad, has accepted a speaking engagement at the UN on September 23 in order to pledge his support for Barack Obama, Iran's choice for the next President of the US.
Ahadinejad, a student activist who tormented and interrogated US hostages during the impotent Jimmy Carter Regime, rose quickly through the political ranks to reach his current position, surviving many dark intriques inherent in the country's political and religious culture.
Through an interpreter, Ahadinejad said he greatly admired Obama as they had both started their careers as political activists and community organizers, relying on questionable fire breathing mentors to achieve their individual goals.
He also appreciated Obama's willingness to visit one on one to discuss world events, exchange carbon credits, and address "the Jewish Question" and some "Nuclear Stuff".
"When he called yesterday to ask me to speak for him at the UN after he got the latest poll results, I wanted to run right over and embrace him as a brother and pledge my undying support...we will be strong allies in the coming jihad!" he said.
State Representative Steve Cohen who compared Obama to Jesus, and Sarah Palin to Pontius Pilate on the floor of the Tennessee House, said he welcomed Ahadinejad's support for his candidate. "I don't know about this Jewish thing, "he said," but any country that doesn't have homosexuals can't be all bad!"
Several Democratic elected officials under fire for suspected ethical questions concerning Questionable Income and Sexual Liaisons were more reserved when they heard Iran usually beheads thieves and adulterers, after they get stoned.
One Democratic staffer on hearing of the punishments, said ".....well getting stoned isn't HALF bad, Dude!"
