Sasquatch Sighting Reported in Cardiff

Cardiff Wales - A rare UK sasquatch sighting reported in Cardiff has been called a hoax by local citizens. Sensitive to the famous Cardiff Giant hoax of the past century the report was immediately investigated and debunked.

The reported sighing of an outsized hairy beast walking on two legs was confirmed to be none other than the famous TheSpoof.com writer Monkey Woods fleeing London paparazzi.

While Mr. Woods is large, has an unnatural amount of body hair and a grotesque smell he is obviously not an ape.

He can be plainly seen in his rented flat window from the main thoroughfare wearing spectacles and pounding away on an outsized computer keyboard responding to fanmail to his humorous writings on the Internet site TheSpoof.com.

Mr. Woods was interviewed by Sarah Prendergast of World News International who posted the first picture of the reported sighting.

"Mr. Woods are you a Sasquatch?"

"No my dear, I just have an unusually hairy back which was a great cause of embarrassment as a teenager leading to the cruel nickname "Monkey" which I carry to this day."

"You can imagine the shame and ridicule I have endured. My life has been one of constant torment. I thought I could find solitude in this pleasant backwater and for a time that was true. I took refuge here and thought I could hide with numerous false identities."

"I found the only way I could release my pain was by writing bullshit which explains the foul smell you spoke of which has lead to my undoing."

"Hope this clears things up luv!"
