Ascunion, Paraguay - Martin Bormann, formerly the second most powerful man in the Third Reich, has sensationally come out of hiding, to announce that he is suing a popular German daily newspaper, over allegations that he took part in "Sick Nazi Themed Orgies" while serving as Hitlers deputy.
Bormann, 108, has been living in a luxurious villa in Ascuncions posh bit since 1945, having been transported from Germany by submarine, on the very eve of the Reichs collapse.
At a press conference in the Ascucion Hilton, Bormann said that he has decided to reveal himself in order to protect and preserve his good name and character.
Lawyers in Germany say that Bormann has a very good chance of winning his libel action, as he fathered 10 children with Gerda, his wife and therefore any jury would wonder where he found the time, energy or inclination, to take part in sick Nazi themed orgies.
Speaking at the press conference, the surprisingly well preserved Parteikanzler, charmed reporters with his quick wit and repartee. However on a more serious note, Bormann bemoaned the low level that the press had sunk to in his native land. "I never thought I'd say this," Herr Bormann remarked "But it makes me ashamed to be German!"
