The Iron fist of the smurfs

Bad boy historian Hopkin Wells or 'Hip-Hopkins' made the controversial claim that the Smurfs were in fact a dictatorship and not a communist society as first thought.

Wells claimed "I have been watching a lot of Smurfs episodes recently and it is quite plain to see they are being oppressed by the iron fist of Papa Smurf."

Although this does explain how they survived 'McCarthyism' other historians and Smurf fans have said that the identical housing and clothing is a sure sign of a communist society.

Hopkins rival historian Edward Shed or 'Hed-Shed' claimed, "The Smurfs are not real and whether they are communist or not really isn't a problem. Hopkins is more interested in the glamour and fame that being a historian brings and doesn't have a passion for history as I do. In really don't think he can be trusted."
