Abu-Dubai--The world's tallest building--the Burj Dubai--began leaning today and could collapse. The building is 900 meters tall (about 3000 feet) and is in the final stages of completion. Engineers were shocked today to see it begin leaning, almost at a 45 degree angle.
This Persian Gulf emirate has been in a building frenzy for years and it's marvels have captured the world's attention. The Burj Dubai building was evacuated while engineers considered corrective moves.
Some suggested to let the building lean, much as the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. The emir was concerned this would attract dumb tourists from the USA to take boring, hackneyed photos and he nixed the idea.
Another suggestion was to build another tower and have it lean in the opposite direction at the same angle. Engineers thought this too difficult and probably too dangerous to achieve.
The best plan came from an engineer in the USA named Mr. Fish. He suggested pumping tons of liquefied Viagra underground to stiffen the building and make it stand up straight. Mr. Fish also thought the Viagra would add another 100 meters to the structure and make it exactly 1000 meters.
The emir was delighted with the idea and plans to rename the Burj Dubai in honor of Mr. Fish!
