World leaders meeting at the 2008 G8 summit in Kyoto will be faced with a mass rally of people with nothing very interesting to say.
Organisers of the lobby are hoping that up to three million people will travel to Japan to protest about the amount of golf being regularly screened on television, inflating the cost of white shoes.
Delegations from the miming industry and Coldcallers International are expected to attend in large numbers.
A spokesman from the Global Association of Pub Bores told TheSpoof.com, 'Well this is it innit. People have had enough. Politicians make all kinds of promises but in the end it's just the same old same old. You wonder whose side they're on. If you ask me, everyone should go to Kyoto and get on some kind of bandwagon otherwise nobody will take any notice of what we say'.
Police say the kind of violent disturbances witnessed at past G8 summits are highly unlikely and they have been given assurances that newsworthy events are not part of the group's agenda.
