Investigative reporters have discovered a new weapon currently being deployed in Iraq. These exclusive pictures (widely available on the internet) caught the sheer brutality of the weapon in action, an exploding US flag.
Abdul Al Halal was injured severely when his 'American' flag exploded for absolutely no reason.
"All we want to do his show our appreciation for our American hero friends" said Abdul. "Suddenly, the flag exploded and I am on fire".
The Red Cross said that they sent President Bush a 102,500 page dossier after the incident highlighting the abuse of which there is only one case, this prompted Donald Rumsfeld into making the following statement while on walkabout in downtown Baghdad;
"We did not anticipate that the flag may be carried by people who actually like Americans, we thought only the trouble makers in the street would be hurt".
Donald Rumsfeld went on to say "we did not know then what we knew now which we think might not be when it was not after when it would have been before when it did not".
Abdul Al Halal was not convinced with the response from Mr Rumsfeld and felt that in Iraq he should be free to carry an American flag in the street with one or two members of his family without being hurt.
"I only burned the flag because I needed fire light to see in the dark" said Abdul, " these weapons are truly dangerous, I am big American fan, why do the Americans punish us".
Another Iraqi also said that "he only threw dirt on the flag to put the fire out ", even though it was pointed out the flag was not actually burning 30 minutes ago at the time, the Iraqi says "You are being political, don't make this political, I knew the flag was going to burn, that is why my brother Mustafa started urinating on it as well to try to reduce the anticipated explosion of fire so that we can be safe while we celebrate being freed from Saddam by our American friends".
The use of exploding flags in Iraq is truly another low for the already humiliated American forces. When Donald Rumsfeld reviewed the Photo's later, he claimed that " the photos are fake, American soldiers when not in Iraq yesterday, we gave them the day off, its simply dirty tricks by tabloids against the US administration, just like the innocent British military, we are being hounded simply because our friends in Iraq want our help and our presence ".
