image for Baby naming on the increase.
Did you have to name me? One day i'll resent you and all that you stand for.

Studies today revealed that the once rare phenomenon of giving a newly born child a name is on the increase in today's society.
Though naming children was reserved for royalty during the days of the British empire it has seen an increase in recent times with the advent of celebrities such as David Beckham and his wife, Former Spice Girls strangled cat impersonator, Victoria naming their children.
The Beckhams famously stated in the Daily News that their child Brooklyn was named after the city he was conceived in.
This solitary act was a catalyst for baby naming to begin in the general ranks of the public. Soon after this event children everywhere were being given names and the government set up a national office for registering your child's names.
The name Brooklyn has soared as a name for children because of the Beckhams decision, as has the trend of naming your child after the place where it was conceived. Four thousand people in the Birmingham area have been named "Back of a Ford Cortina" in the past month.

Make Ross Douglas's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
