Hungarian mother, Marizka Twatalov , gave birth to a very healthy 25lb jelly baby in Puskas General hospital last Saturday evening after a gruelling wait of 6 days in a cramped ward. Her husband, Boris Twatalov - who works in the local traffic cone mines where he digs for the precious road works tools - waited anxiously nearby.
"Mr. Twatalov stayed by his wife's beside all during the delivery and never left to get a snack", said Doctor Fisticuff, "it just appears that he was really hungry and gave in to temptation when his child was born. I know I would, too"
The child's mother freaked out when she awoke to find that her newborn's legs were missing.
Hospital staff rushed to her aid.
"I'm afraid we got there too late", said Doctor Fisticuff, "when we arrived we noticed Mr. Twatalov standing nervously in the corner, belching loudly. I think we all knew what had happened by then".
Mrs. Twatalov and the baby are being kept in for further observation. Mr. Twatalov has been banished to the dark forest.
This is not the first time the family have suffered a tragedy. Mrs. Twatalov's gingerbread Mother and Father vanished under mysterious circumstances 2 years ago while being driven into town by her husband.
