image for Britain to go down the Shute

Gordon Brown the UK Prime Minister is planning to move the UK to Australia. Brown is thought to have got the idea from the author Neville Shute, who wrote several books on the subject in the 1940's.

It is thought Prime Minister Brown is concerned at his dwindling popularity both in the UK and on the world stage and sees this as the perfect way to re-invent himself. It is also believed that the UK economy will implode in 2008 with average house prices in London to fall so dramatically that they will soon be cheaper than the average light bulb.

Queen Elizabeth is already disposing of her UK property with Buckingham Palace sold to a Russian Oligark and the Walt Disney Corporation are said to have acquired Windsor Castle. Whilst Liz has purchased a chic studio flat in Sydney.

In Australia opinion is divided, whilst many concede that the UK shall bring better education and improve the economy, many Australians are concerned that there sports teams will suffer.

With Britain set to empty in just a few months already many are eyeing it up with Poland favourite to claim Britain as their new home.
