PETA Says Artic Cluck Yuck!!

Louisville, KY - Today Colonel Sanders announced at a startling news conference KFC's newest menu addition, a special "Endangered Species" menu.

First up for the king of cluck, the endangered Arctic Chicken. The Arctic Chicken is found only on the north side of Hudson Bay on a small rocky island about the size of New Hampshire. The bird is unique in that it is all white and has a feathered beak to protect it from the severe weather and eye lids that look remarkably like little goggles. All in all it is quite a cute cuddly looking little creature, but KFC officials claim its taste will overcome any furor regarding it being cute.

"Our test market results in Arkansas and Louisiana showed us the the taste buds would definitely rule our decision," said the Colonel, who is now nothing more than a droid.

The Arctic Chicken's numbers are said to be only about 88,000. KFC plans a world wide release, but the bird obviously will only be available for a limited time. Members of PETA and Green Peace are said to be gathering a small army to storm the island and protect the chickens, resorting to hand to hand combat if necessary. Of course this in and of itself could finish off the Arctic chicken since they are prone to fainting at the sign of humans.
