So close..

Spoof writer NickFun attempted to write the worlds longest headline today but came short because of character limitations.

"I was 3 characters short of the goal", a dejected Fun said from his office just north of Los Angeles. "When I previewed the story it looked more than long enough but the final version left off the characters reading 'this is a preview'. If they had kept those characters in I would be famous now and dating sexy divas. I would have broken the record but for the pitiful amount of space TheSpoof allows for headlines. I was so close. So close".

Fun claims that he will attempt the record again working from another online publication.
