image for Catholic bishops of England and Wales demanded human rights for "interspecies embryos"
Fievel Rules the West

CCN (Crazy Cal News) - Washington - It appears that having a mouse with human brain cells take over for President Bush has had some repercussions. President Fievel's first act as president was to get on the hot-line and call the Pope, demanding rights for Manimals.

The Pope immediately searched for some Bishops to respond to the president's request, and found some in England and Wales. The Bishops' testimony was,

Bishops' testimony: 1) "Interspecies embryos" should be treated like human embryos.
    2) "At very least, embryos with a preponderance of human genes should be assumed to be embryonic human beings."
    3) "It should not be a crime to transfer them … to the body of the woman providing the ovum, in cases where a human ovum has been used to create them. Such a woman is the genetic mother, or partial mother, of the embryo; should she have a change of heart and wish to carry her child to term, she should not be prevented from doing so."

This was entirely unexpected when the mouse was elected by the American people. Now the United States citizens are all considering becoming Vegans like Ron Paul.
