image for 'Jew'-ropean Union Latest

Following announcements earlier this month that the proposed European Constitution would be rewritten, Jewish groups have been voicing their views for the way forward.

The British based Jewish lobby Group JAC (Jews Are Cool) have put forward proposals for the Star of David to be incorporated onto the EU flag as one of the 12 yellow stars.

These calls follow Poland's insistence that Christianity should be recognised in the constitution and the future membership of predominantly Muslim nation Turkey.

Rabbi Nel TuCross, a level 2 member of JAC said at a press conference last night, "Jews should be represented in the European Union, we have to compete with Muslims and Christians to get into the Religions Champions League and it is not fair they should have this advantage, it effectively gives them a goal difference we can never make up".

European Commissioner for stupid affairs and holocaust denier Mick van Mike refused to comment. the European Union is traditionally secular in its jurisdiction but it is thought that if the Jews are successful this will help the American faction in their quest to get a 51st star on the American flag.

The Jews play the Mormons in a Religions Champions League 3rd qualifying round 7th leg match in tel-aviv next week. Tickets are still available. A History of the European Flag by some boring idiot is available to buy on Amazon.co.uk on Monday for £16.99, or is that Euros?
