Noose on the loose

World Wide Web, Well, you should have seen it coming, it seemed inevitable, yes someone did it. Saddam Hussein's hangman's noose is up for sale on EBay for an amazing opening bid of $200,000.00

As of yet there are no bidders.

It's being hawked as a piece of important Middle Eastern history. Once in a life time opportunity to own a piece of American/Iraqi cooperation that succeeded.

The prices are actually quite reasonable considering the war has cost countless lives on both sides with an estimated price tag in excess of 350 billion dollars. This is the only tangible pay off so far.

The noose can be purchased alone or as a set with the sash that was used to tie around Saddam's neck just before the drop of the trap door.

The sash was used to avoid bruising the body badly, The Iraqis are returning the body to his family.

The sash is priced to sell at a discount rate of $100,000.00, as of yet no bids, or the set is
starting at $250,000.00.

These items are authenticated by the hangman that pulled the lever that put Saddam Hussein to death and the witnesses at the execution.

The bids expire on 2nd January 2007.

One item not for sale is the handgun Saddam was clutching in the spider hole when he was apprehended. That is in the Bush collection.
