A five-star luxury hotel was under siege from an army of brainwashed animals for 72 hours.
Hotel Amaze the premier locale of the ancient city of Mu was besieged by non-human mammals in the early hours of Thursday morning. Staff activated 'Home Invasion' safety protocols, locking themselves and thousands of guests inside.
A few hours into the siege Dr Maximillian Maxwell, winner of the 2012 'Mad Scientist of the Year Award' claimed responsibility for the attack in a live message broadcast to several hundred television sets. He said: 'I did not want to demonstrate my latest development in mind control technology in such manner but the hotel forced my hand. They failed to provide complimentary strawberry jam at breakfast during my last stay.'
The animals only proved a nuisance by throwing stones and hitting the hotel's windows during the opening minutes of the siege. After which they merely acted as an audience of bizarre voyeurs.
Guests and staff inside the hotel spent the duration of the siege indulging in the alcohol and food, and playing numerous rounds of charades.
The siege ended when the Hotel Amaze contacted Dr Maxwell and informed him they would refund the cost of his previous stay, and provide him with a room for one week for free.
