In a sensational heart-warming tale The Spoof has learnt of schoolboy Reece Jenkins from the Rhonda Valley in Wales and his amazing lunch-time haute cuisine cooking escpades.
Whilst most kids in the UK are happy to have either a school dinner comprising of some kind of shocking muck or else bring in a pack lunch, 13 year old Reece insists on cooking Michelin star quality fare on an old camping stove that he bought at a car-boot sale.
When The Spoof caught up with Reece, the teenage 'Gordon Ramsay' had just rustled up a plate of Canard flambé en armagnac avec champignons et sauce fenouile. This was washed down by a very passable bottle of Chateauneuf de Pape 1996 and followed by a glass of vintage port, coffee, mints and cigars.
Dai Laughing Headmaster of Reece's comprehensive school is quite astounded by his resident gourmand.
"We don't know where he gets it from. His mum's as common as muck and his dad's never even seen a piece of toast to the best of our knowledge. It's incredible"
Reece himself explains:
"Well when I was a youngster mum just stuck me in front of UKTV Food when she entertained her 'gentlemen friends' and I think I must have just assimilated all the skills that I'm now demonstrating"
Our reporter spoke to some of Reece's classmates asking what they thought of his 'posh-nosh'? Prefect Glynn Williams told him:
"Well it's not too bad...a bit poncey though...I'd rather have burger or pizza myself"
And when the young 'head chef' was asked what he wanted to do when he left school Reece laughed and told The Spoof:
"That's easy. I want to be a Physicist or possibly a Professor of Mathematics"
