image for Prime Minister Netanyahu Goes Fundraising Amid Country in Turmoil
Looks like it was a good trip.

Tel Aviv - With his country deep in the midst of major crises and problems which demand his attention, including the current war with Hamas, Prime Minister Netanyahu headed out today for a quick cash-and-grab fundraising trip.

The Prime Minister will be hitting up wealthy donors in Jerusalem, Nazareth and Tel Aviv. The PM enjoys raising money and preaching to his choir more than overseeing the day to day operations of his own country.

Residents of all three cities have been critical of the traffic jams caused by the PM's motorcade during each visit but that outcry has fallen on deaf ears. The disruptions caused by his trips have made life harder on those already dealing with chaos in the region.

In addition, critics have slammed the Prime Minister for appearing insensitive and disengaged in the important affairs that affect the lives of his countrymen, as well as the ongoing humanitarian crisis taking place near the country's southern border with Gaza.

The Prime Minister's spokesman has assured Israel that Mr. Netanyahu is on top of things because he has a pen and a phone. When asked about the optics of the PM's fundraising efforts in the face of growing tension across the country, the spokesman politely stated, "We don't care. We do what we want."

So, as Israel burns, Prime Minister Netanyahu continues to cavort with Israeli celebrities and wealthy Israeli donors. We will continue to pray for the safety and well-being of this tiny Middle East country.

**UPDATE** - Apparently, the preceding story was submitted by an intern just before they quit our staff and the story was written about Mr. Netanyahu by mistake. The story actually applies to another world leader and we are working to pin down exactly which leader the story is about, however, we have ruled out President Putin of Russia. Our sincerest apologies to Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Make E. Williams's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
