Australian Greens Senator, Sarah Hanson-Young has recently discovered a revolutionary new defense system that could bolster Australia's border security.

In the last few years, Australia has experienced an influx in asylum seekers that has divided the community and sparked much debate.

Sarah Hanson-Young, affectionately known as "Two Dads" by some of her constituents (due to the fact she has a double barreled name)has been very critical of the Governments border protection policies.

She recently made an embarrassing mistake when questioning senior defense officials. Sarah Hanson-Young made statements regarding a television program about a fictional naval vessel collaborating
with the defense force. The actors from the television show are believed to be reluctant to put themselves in harm's way as they are actors and not trained sailors or soldiers.

Not to be deterred, the eager, young senator from South Australia has come up with a new devious and cunning plan.

She was over heard remarking to senior defense personnel, "All I want is frickin' sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads."

A spokeswoman for the senator who wishes to remain anonymous stated the following. "These will be specially trained sharks who will let through genuine refugees but attack those who wish to do our nation harm. They will be fed cat food and wear protective clothing, their lasers are extremely powerful and because of this no Australian aircraft will fly in the areas they patrol."

The sharks will also have a search and rescue capability. Sarah Hanson -Young is believed to have tabled a proposal for an operation that will see the sharks seek out MH370 west of four x island.
