Jackson's strange head floating above Neverland

Michael Jackson has revealed that his obsession with children is not sexual in nature, but is instead linked to his desire to remain "forever young". The forty-five year old singer, once a child star himself, is said to be devastated by the allegations which assume that his interest in children is anything but benign. However, Jackson assures us that this is simply not the case: that it is not he that is grooming the children, but rather the other way round.

We talked to 12 year old Jermaine Bugatti about his relationship with Jackson:

"Michael is a good friend. We call each other on our mobiles and talk about pop and Britney and cola and things like that. Sometimes he'll ask me to sleep over and we'll spend the day shopping for cool clothes and at night I'll teach him how to play Playstation and Gamecube games. When I'm asleep I sometimes catch him looking at me, trying to imitate how a child sleeps. It's funny. It's kind of like a shadow game. He's just trying hard to be 12 years old, I mean, just look at the fairground rides in his house for God's sake!"[/i]

Jackson's "Neverland Ranch" is his main home that he shares with his childhood friends, and does indeed have fairground rides amongst other "children friendly" amusements.

Jermaine continued:

"You see Michael's face? Yeah - that's not Michael trying to get white, or trying to see if his nose could become inverted into his head. No. His plastic surgery is all about trying to look younger, trying to roll back the years of superstardom. Personally, I feel sorry for him... but that's because I want to be a 45 year old multi-millionaire with the world at his feet."[/i]

Jackson is likely to undergo many months of media speculation about his true interest in children. However, my feelings are that we should all hope that his interests do not extend to pets, or indeed, the dead.
