image for Vietnam Reports That The Warship The Mekong Mongoose Is Now Sailing Off The Coast of North Korea
The VS Mekong Mongoose is Commanded by Captain Phong Quang Long.

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam - The government of Vietnam has just announced that its warship the VS Mekong Mongoose is now sailing off the coast of North Korea after spending some time up in the East Siberian Sea.

The Mekong Mongoose was sailing off the Russian coast monitoring the situation between Russia and the Ukraine.

After leaving the East Siberian Sea the Vietnamese warship is now sailing approximately 7.3 miles off the North Korean coast conducting some night time maneuvers.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has said that if the Vietnamese vessel gets within 2.9 miles of his country's coastline he will fire one of his missiles at it and sink the arrogant vessel.

Meanwhile the governments of Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia have stated that if North Korea attacks the Mekong Mongoose they will consider that an act of war and all three nations will come to the aid of their wonderful friend and ally Vietnam.

SIDENOTE: Kim Jong Un reportedly responded by saying that a division made up of North Korean grandmothers and grandfathers in walkers and wheel chairs could defeat Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia in 27 minutes; 31 at the most.
