In the race between man and other species, the former has taken precedence in intelligence apparently. Yet, the rest of the animals show more civility, freedom, love and perhaps even intelligence in sexual behaviours.
When elephants, lions, dogs, fish, insects and scores of other species display homosexuality in their lives without any obstruction or inhibition, it poses a big question to the supposedly higher human intelligence.
All this observation became quite interesting when recently the Indian government gave a nod to homosexuality and abolished section 377 of its criminal law. The change was met with few voices of appreciation but mostly a lot of criticism.
The most interesting response was from the animals, of course. Indian animals chuckled at this new law, mocking the lateness of the "intellectual" humans in recognizing what is normal. Uncontrollable laughter ensued at the knowledge of those still protesting it.
Most animals felt they would rather live their low status lives than be on the ranks of human beings who had constantly created violence in efforts to condemn it. Their life had more dignity, peace and pleasure obviously. With this thought, they trashed the news and moved on with their lives.
