PYONGYANG, North Korea - Former NBA player, Dennis Rodman attended Kim Jong Un's birthday party which was held at the luxurious Pyongyang Presidential Palace.
Rodman had flown several former U.S. basketball players to participate in an exhibition game with some of the best players in North Korea.
The event marked the 31st birthday of the North Korean leader, who has said that one day he will rule the world.
One of Kim Jong Un's personal assistants asked Rodman if he would sing Happy Birthday to their president.
Rodman confessed that his singing may be a bit pitchy but pointed out that American Idol's Randy "The Dawg" Jackson was not around so it would be alright.
Halfway through the song, Dennis forgot the words, but it really did not matter because none of the North Koreans noticed.
After the game Rodman presented Kim Jong Un with a Michael Jordan #23 basketball jersey, a pair of $200 Tim Duncan Nike basketball shoes, and a $300 gift certificate to any Fiery Tongue of The Dragon Diner in Pyongyang.
SIDENOTE: Dennis Rodman played for the USA team but he got two technicals in the fourth quarter and was ejected from the game which the USA team won 163-17.
