The banana is to Costa Rica like the potato is to Idaho.

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica - Reports coming out of Costa Rica state that President Kiko Sombrero has just announced to the people of his country that Costa Rica has developed a super drone.

The super drone nicknamed El Pajaro Grande (The Big Bird) is roughly the size of a 747 jet plane.

The president stated that it is without a doubt the biggest drone in the entire world.

He pointed out that the state-of-the-art super drone makes all other drones look like a child's paper airplane.

President Sombrero was asked why he would spend so much money to build such a gigantic drone.

He raised his eyebrows and replied that Costa Rica is the world's leading exporter of bananas and sometimes there can be delays in shipments.

But he noted that by using El Pajaro Grande his country will be able to deliver up to three tons of bananas to New York City within a few hours.

SIDENOTE: President Sombrero said that he personally holds the patent to the super drone so he stands to make mucho, mucho (lots and lots) of dinero (money).

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
