London, England-- Queen Elizabeth II has completed her training as a Royal Marine commando. The 86-year old monarch wanted to be ready for the London Olympics this summer, just in case something happens. The queen was trained in hand-to-hand combat, as well as bayoneting and explosives. She graduated at the top of her class.
The queen's military experience was not the first for the monarch. She was appointed Colonel-in-Chief of the Grenadier Guards when she was only 15. She killed over 500 Nazis with her bare hands by the time the war had ended.
Queen Elizabeth made many friends during her 32 week training course to become a Royal Marine. The cadets were very impressed with her strength, her cunning and her ruthlessness.
"We nicknamed her Spike." said one cadet. "She carried a railroad spike with her, and helped train cadets in gouging out a terrorist's eyeball. She was one mean soldier!" he exclaimed.
The queen likes to carry a railroad spike in her little handbag, and she seems very ready to use it.
"How else would I have lasted on the throne for 60 years." she stated.
