Evolution crackpot Richard Dawkins today embarrassed himself by conveniently 'forgetting' the racist full title to Charles Darwin epic work of fiction.
Commonly known as 'The Origin of Species', it's full title is in fact 'On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life'
Not surprisingly most evolution buffs try and gloss over this racist hot potato, not wanting to draw attention to who the 'Favoured Races' might be.
When Dawkins had his selective amnesia, he was then challenged by Giles Fraser, who was criticising Dawkins accusation that British Christians were not Christian enough.
When fumbling about for the answer, a confused Dawkins even said "Oh God" - hardly fitting for an atheist fundamentalist.
The exchange, still available from Radio 4, prompted many atheists to mock Dawkins and his crusade.
