George W Bush reinforced the ‘special' relationship between Britain and America, by swapping hearts with Tony Blair.
Mr Blair recently underwent emergency cardiac treatment when his heart went into arrest and his ability to carry on with his strenuous routine has been brought into question.
Mr Bush insisted on carrying out the dangerous procedure despite strenuous efforts to stop him.
‘Shucks!' insisted the troubled President.
‘My pappy was a Korean War veteran.'
‘I'm only too glad to help out my limey cousin in his hour of need'
‘And anyway! -- my other heart will cope just fine', he rambled.
