Washington--Republicans are touting the creation of two jobs created this week by their tax cut legislation.
The two jobs created were at Liberty Consulting, a lobbyist firm of Virginia Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. These lobbyist will be trying to repeal Obama's health care law.
"How many jobs has the president created," Representative John Boehner said, with tears in his eyes, and flanked by lobbyists. "Oh, none. That is right, a big fat zero. He hasn't created any jobs. We did and that is why we rule."
The Republicans, mostly rich elitist that don't pay taxes, started the idea that tax cuts create jobs because they really don't understand the role of taxes. They also like the idea of how poorly educated people, thanks to their education cuts, cling to the idea that tax cuts equal more jobs.
Republicans also like to point out Reagan cut taxes, but forget that he also closed tax loopholes, and thus he actually raised taxes.
Paul Ryan, who took time from combing his hair, to do a YouTube video about how the two jobs were created by tax cuts had this to say: "You will see by that in the next ten years we hope to double the number of jobs created to four jobs, if we follow the path set by the last ten years. History will not judge George Bush as an idiot but as a genius for implementing his job creating tax cuts for the rich."
President Obama couldn't be reached for comment, because he was on vacation.
