WEST HOLLYWOOD - A newly formed group calling itself The Gay Barbarians of America has just convinced the state of California to not allow GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann to enter the state.
GBOA as the group is known is led by Rosie O'Donnell who is the organization's president. Jane Lynch of the television dramedy series Glee was elected vice-president, and rock and roll legend Melissa Etheridge was elected GBOA's director of entertainment.
The group, which is based in West Hollywood, boasts that it has some very high profile members in the entertainment community including many who are not even gay, semi-gay, or what is known in certain parts of San Francisco as weekend gays.
Some of the straight members of GBOA include Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Cher, Brett Favre, Bette Midler, Brad Pitt, and Kobe Bryant.
The gay members of GBOA include Ellen DeGeneres, Ricky Martin, Queen Latifah, Adam Lambert, and Osceola Elvira Foxgiggle who at 101 years of age is believed to be the oldest lesbian in Los Angeles. Foxgiggle was once the personal hairdresser of the noted Brazilian samba dancer Carmen "The Fruit Hat" Miranda.
When GBOA President Rosie O'Donnell was asked what the group hopes to accomplish by banning Michele Bachmann from entering "The Golden State" she let out a laugh and said that they want to let Michele "Hair Spray" Bachmann know that thanks to the smog, the pollution, and the automobiles the state already has enough stale, foul smelling air without her bringing in anymore.
