Public records reveal two big pharmaceutical companies have been the largest contributor to playground safety projects in the world over a 30-year period, donating more than $900 million to the cause.

The U.S. Government and State Governments combined for a total of only $10 million in grants for playground safety projects over that same time period.

The documents include studies by the two pharmaceutical companies to determine the psychological effects of being over-protective of young children.

European universities were paid to do the work for the companies, and they discovered a direct link between adults with anxiety problems and parents who were overprotective of the child.

Campaign donations and lobbying expenses spiked once the results were returned to the drug manufacturers. Within just a few years, multiple new pshychopharmaceuticals were well into the research and development phase.

Legislation paving the way for more marketing opportunities and proprietarization perks for drug manufacturing soon followed.

"They have destroyed an entire generation, and it's making billions for them," Dr. Winthrop Williams, of the Coalition to End Legal Drug Addiction in America.

The CELDAA alleges the documents are evidence that should force Congress to change the laws, and for the courts to decide what actions should be taken against companies who may have knowingly cultivated an emotionally-unstable, medication-dependent generation of Americans.

Spokespersons for big pharm declined to comment on the public release of the research, lobbying, and philantrhopic records, and what some are implying they prove.

I contacted one company and upon the reporter identifying himself to the representative and asking to address the issue, the representative on the telephone simply said, "Who?"

He then hung up the phone.

Voice mail messages were left but not returned by any representative.
