Sadly, John Smith of Scarborough, England, had to return from his vacation slightly deflated. He'd hoped to get photographs of the Mystery Blonde, but was thwarted at every turn.
He had no choice but to return to Pearson Airport, Toronto, to catch his flight back to Newcastle, where his wife would be waiting for him.
On a brighter note, a Canadian photographer, Ivor Lenson, reported that HE had sighted, who HE believed to be, the Mystery Blonde at a very expensive Hotel, The King George Hotel at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
Ivor was hanging around in the lobby of the King George, hoping to pap some American celebrities as they are known to frequent the King George on a regular basis.
Niagara-on-the-Lake is extremely close to the American border. Merely a hop, skip and a jump.
This beautiful little town is well known for its many antique shops, though many prices of the antiques are rather expensive for Canadian wallets, Americans love spending their money in these shops (stores).
Ivor had read descriptions of this 'beauty' who appeared to be proving very difficult to photograph and 'pin down'. He'd read stories on the Spoof.
Determined to be the very first person to photograph this elusive, leggy blonde, Ivor settled himself in for a long day.
He'd taken with him a cooler full of snacks and drinks as he knew the King George's prices were way out of HIS price range.
He'd just finished his first Twinkie and Coke when he spotted, who he believed to be, the Mystery Blonde leaving the hotel.
Ivor quickly stuffed his remaining snacks plus the garbage from his Twinkie and Coke, into the mini-cooler he had with him....grabbed his camera bag and headed out of the hotel to follow the Mystery Blonde.
The Mystery Blonde headed out from the hotel and walked across the road to the Play Park where children were having fun playing on the equipment and splashing in the shallow pool, watched by their doting parents.
It was an extremely HOT day and the Mystery Blonde was wearing a figure-hugging, sleeveless white top and a pair of tight, pink, denim shorts which reached just about 2 inches above her knees. She wore a white baseball cap with a long 'bill' and a pair of Oakley sunglasses.
Ivor noticed how heads turned as the Mystery Blonde passed by them.
Ivor followed her and watched as she took a seat on one of the benches in the Play Park. The Mystery Blonde took out a cell phone and began to text. Ivor wondered who she was contacting but couldn't dwell on this....he was a man on a mission. A mission to get a photograph and - perhaps in his dreams - an interview with The Mystery Blonde.
Ivor was determined to do whatever it would take to find out the true identity of The Mystery Blonde, thereby grabbing the biggest Scoop for The Spoof.
