image for Joe Zee To Redo Obama White House

Joe Zee, of Sundance Channel's All On The Line, who manages to resuscitate failing fashion houses, giving them a second chance, might just have a look-see at Barack Obama's White House.

Yes, we can! Questionable the second time around.

All On The Line is a reality program, (sort of like Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, where Ramsey cleans up a restaurant, changes menus, dresses up the help, reshapes the owners) and Zee's skills could prepare Obama for his reelection in 2012. Obama needs some of that winning pizazz he had in the 2008 election.

Where did it go?

Joe Zee's expertise as Creative Director of Elle magazine worked wonders redefining Korean born Gemma Kahng's fashion house and landing her an exclusive contract with upscale New York store Kirna Zabete. However, he wasn't able to motivate and redefine the lingerie company of Between The Sheets. And Between The Sheets is not where the Obama White House wishes to remain in 2012.

With little Republican opposition: the carnival barker with the haystack headdress, (who should be more interested in his own girth than Obama's birth); the eye doctor; the wedding cake groom; lasagna; Mark Twain friend; trice married white hair guy. Trice married is a rite of passage in Hollywood, but trice married doesn't make it into the White House. Finally, there's John McCain. He could give it a second try. See if he's able to lose every single state by selecting Bristol Palin as his running mate.

In 2012 Obama can't promise to get out of Iraq, Afghanistan, Gitmo, Abu Ghraib or cancel the Bush top 2% tax cut a second time around. He has to change his style and agenda. Obama should begin wearing Ralph Lauren Rugby clothes and fewer mortician blues. Spend more time in the White House and less traveling on Air Force One. Give Hillary and Michelle more responsibilities and get Pelosi back as Speaker of the House. Lastly, he must develop the political will to lead. Not sweet lead, but fist pounding, head cracking, arm twisting lead. Real tears should count for something.

It's all on the line!
