Fort Worth: President George W. Bush will be a key note speaker at Hart Energy's Developing Unconventional Gas Conference and Exhibition in Fort Worth. He will address environmental concerns.
When asked why they chose to invite the former president instead of Al Gore, representatives for Hart said, "President Bush better portrays our views on gas drilling, oil consumption, global warming and climate change. Also, he really knows his baseball and we have plans to go out for a beer at The Pour House afterwards. Al Gore, I've heard, only really drinks wine and juice. We drink beer in Texas, not those sissy pansy drinks."
While the event will be closed to the media, it can only be assumed that he will ad lib his speech, disregard all advice given to him by his speech writers, throw in some chuckles, tell a few knock-knock jokes and look stupefied on many occasions.
