Psychics, mediums, spiritual healers and other believers in psychic energies will be on hand Saturday, March 19, 2011 in the small Central Florida town of Cassadaga to take advantage of record high energy levels related to an unusual lunar event.

Event coordinators of 'Supermoon Saturday' claim that the moon will be passing closest to the earth above Cassadaga more so than anywhere else at any time in recent memory, except maybe Stonehenge…and possibly Machu Picchu. Cassadagians claim this will not only make the moon appear larger and brighter in the sky, but will also heighten the moon's gravitational pull on energy centers located within their special little village.

The psychics predict that the moon's effect will create near perfect spirit vortexes throughout the community allowing anyone with even nominal psychic powers to perform almost miraculous feats. Healers will be on hand to heal those with certain afflictions with the laying on of hands like they do every weekend. However, this particular weekend, they believe they may actually see results.

Visitors hoping to catch a glimpse of some paranormal activity such as spirit orbs or ghosts are also invited to join in séances and spirit tours that will be conducted under the bright full moon. "We are so happy to have this event at this time," claims event coordinator Sarah Hawthorne, no relation to Nathaniel Hawthorne, whose ancestor, John Hathorne was, not coincidently, a judge during the Salem Witch Trials.

In addition, a spiritual healer named Dave Iddian claims that he will attempt to line his energies up with a South American healer through an invisible pyramid-shaped link that passes through the center of the moon. "It will be something akin to the prism/triangle design on the cover of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album cover," says Iddian, and, "if all goes well, it's gonna be awesome."
