HOLLWOOD - Many television critics are saying that this season of American Idol has far more than the usual share of fairly good, talented performers.
The national publication USA Sunup has stated that they feel that Casey Abrams, the singer with the stand up bass has a good chance of being in the Top Three.
USA Sunup said that the stand up bass is really like having a couple of singers instead of just one singer whom they have referred to as being like Danny Bonaduce on steroids.
TV ClickerWorld reports that they think that James Durbin who has the octave range of Adam Lambert will make in into the finals. TVC said that Durbin can hit notes that only Labrador Retrievers can hear.
Bedroom Pillow Talk noted that they believe that the Georgia peach Lauren Alaina will be in the Top Ten. BPT did state that a lot of people are being turned off by her somewhat conceited, I-already-know-I'm-good attitude.
Randy "The Black Dawg" really gave her quite the compliment when he told her that he felt that she was a cross between two past American Idol winners Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
Well "Peaches" instead of being humble and saying thank you, I am honored, I really appreciate that, that is such a compliment, instead replied, "Ah shucks, but I want to be known as Lauren."
Many Lauren fans are hoping that "Peaches" who does resemble Clarkson in the hips and caboose department, by making that unappreciative remark does not cause the American voters to turn away from her in the same way that they turned away from the most annoying, hateful, and conceited contestant in the history of American Idol, Tatiana Del Toro.
Cowbell Notes Music Magazine wrote that their favorite to make it all of the way is Jacob Lusk, who sings ala Ebeneezer Baptist Church, and can hit notes that no professional singer has been able to hit since the days of Roy Orbison.
Two of America' sweethearts, fellow singers Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato were both asked by American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, Julianne Hough's boyfriend, who they felt would make it into the Top Three.
After the two girls conferred for about ten minutes they told Ryan that they had reached a decision. They handed him a slip of paper. And the names that they had written (in no particular order as host Tom Bergeron says on Dancing With The Stars) were Pia Toscano, James Durbin, and Jacob Lusk.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: I have to say that I agree with both Selena and Demi. Durbin is awesome. Lusk is fantastic. But Toscano, who is only 22, does not only have a fabulous voice, the gal knows how to work it by showcasing her absolutely stunning legs as well as the other parts of her gorgeous body by wearing short tight-fitting dresses. I usually don't vote, but I have to say that I'm voting for Pia "The Babe" Toscano.]
