CBS has announced that it is in negotiations with former heads of state Ben Ali of Tunisia and Hosni Mubarak of Egypt to take over for Charlie Sheen in the hit comedy series "2 and a Half Men".
Creator of the show, Chuck Lorre said that the talks were a little difficult to maintain because the erstwhile dictators were always ducking into caves whenever they heard a car race by.
"Speaking of coups, which is a dirty word for these guys," continued Lorre, "this is actually a real coup for CBS and the show. These guys are so bankrupt, they'll do the show for next to nothing. Mrs. Mubarak said she'd even make hummus-burgers for the TV crew. Now, we just have to decide which one is cheaper and also a better comedian."
Meanwhile, reports are circulating that Muammar Qaddafi of Libya has sent his representatives to Hollywood to schedule his audition for the role.
He also dispatched his jet fighters to the caves to "take out" Mubarak and Ben Ali.
