image for Democrats Urge Obama to Deliver Bigger Stimulus Package
"Mama Robinson, Don't call me in here."

Democrats are urging that the President send every American family $1,000 in another effort to stimulate the economy.

"The $250 we sent out before wasn't enough to get people spending once again", stated Barney Frank. "Now Americans are beginning to loosen up a bit and begin looking at larger items like a car or even to purchase a home. This amount would show them that the United States is determined to help it's citizens."

Of course, the Republicans are against spending anymore money for anything.

"We're already head in debt over heels", stated Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell. "I think I got that wrong, but you know what I mean. We'll be selling California to the Chinese next to pay our debt to them. Say, that's not a bad idea, actually."

Meanwhile, the first lady, Michell Obama stated that she was all for giving the $1,000 stimulus to families.

"We need to prime the pump! Now Barack, I know my saying that always gets you excited. OK. But just one more time. PRIME THE PUMP! I guess you better leave for a few minutes, Barney, as you can see, my husband has quite a stimulus package to present, but it's not for you."

"Michelle! Barack! Where are you people?"

"Your Mom's gotta go, Honey. We can't expect the voters to allow us a vacation every two weeks."
