After much discussion with political friends and with his own family many believe that President Barack Hussein Obama may announce his resignation during a speech he will make this week.
"It's about time", stated freshman Senator Rand Paul. "He should have seen the writing on the wall after those mid-term elections and now this huge public scandal. Why, even top Democrats such as Vice President Joe Biden have asked the President to step down after this latest event."
"I hate to say it", admitted the Vice President, "but I am willing for my President and close friend to resign. Even though I have not asked for the job, I will do my best to bring honesty to the office of President of the United States."
Who will he name as the new Vice President?
"I may reach across the aisle and pinch Sarah Palin on the rear end", laughed Joe. "But since she is not in Washington, I'll see where the money... I'll see whom the people want me to choose."
Although many people have supported Obama through his ups and downs, the incident of temporarily dying his hair when the Chinese leader came to Washington DC, pushed them over the edge.
"There's not a gray boomer or a baldy in America who would support him now", stated one Washington insider.
