"Look what you've done Katrina. Why? What did the folks in Florida do to you?"
Katrina, according to Rivera replied,
"Sorry. Really. When I was a baby I simply wanted to head out to sea away from the mainland. When folks started laughing at me, blowing me off I kind of got .. can I say the bad 'P' word on TV Geraldo?"
Rivera told Katrina .. "No".
CNN released partial transcripts of Rivera's interview with the hurricane off the coast of Florida ..
RIVERA ---> So .. you want to change your name to tRiNa?
KATRINA --> Correct. Diddy did it. Prince too. Katrina sounds like such a girlie girl name.
RIVERA ---> But you ARE a girl Katrina.
KATRINA --> tRiNa .. the name's tRiNa.
RIVERA ---> Ok .. tRiNa. What are your plans? You already destroyed a lot of land, hurt a lot of people.
KATRINA --> I'm not sure yet. I'm not as .. can I say the bad 'P' word now?
RIVERA ---> No. Tell us where you're headed.
KATRINA ----> I don't want to kill anymore, I really don't. The winds are carrying me now so even I don't know where I'm headed. Feels kind of cool going category 3 though and NO I don't use steroids.
Rivera says that he's concerned not only about tRiNa but her boyfriend, Leon, who she says is now forming off the coast of Puerto Rico, ready to "dew sum DAMAGE in da house". Rivera ended his interview with,
"tRiNa? I'm not pleased tRiNa .. not pleased at bit with all this. You tricked everybody with that underhanded u-turn you did out there in the Atlantic. Can you please just turn around, head back to sea and leave us alone?"
"Can I change my name again? I really do think I prefer .. 'Cane T'.
Rivera reportedly told her, "No". CNN says that you can view Rivera's complete interview with tRiNa tonight on Geraldo. Assuming you still have power.
